What an invention, this wool-silk neck warmer by Engel Natur for children. We already had a lot of lovely scarves in the shop, but not one that is this practical and comfortable for little ones. You simply pull this neck warmer over the head; it stays in place well and feels wonderfully soft. No tying, no loose ends, just put it on and you're ready.

A multifunctional marvel

This neck warmer is not just for outdoors. Our daughter sometimes wears it indoors around her tummy when she’s not feeling quite right. Warm, soft, and comforting. It’s also ideal under a bike helmet, during outdoor play, as a sports accessory, or as an extra layer under a jacket.

And honestly: it is also regularly used by adults here. As a bandana, mini neck warmer, or light scarf for those who don't want a big piece of fabric.

Soft for sensitive skin

The composition of 70% organic merino wool and 30% silk makes this neck warmer exceptionally soft and breathable. The wool helps regulate body temperature, while the silk provides a smooth, non-irritating feel on the skin. No itching, no stuffiness.

That is why this neck warmer is also very suitable for children with sensitive skin or eczema. Naturally undyed, free of harmful substances, and made in Germany according to strict GOTS guidelines.

Practical & comfortable

The neck warmer is one size and measures approximately 20 x 37 cm. Thanks to the natural stretch of wool, it fits snugly without pinching. It stays in place well, even on active children.

This wool-silk neck warmer is available in several beautiful colors and can be perfectly combined with other Engel Natur favorites. Think of matching jackets, harem pants, hats, or overalls. Everything in the same soft, breathable quality. Also for adults, by the way.

Washing instructions for wool & silk

Wool-silk does not need to be washed often. A quick airing out is usually sufficient. Does it need to be washed? Then wash this neck warmer on the wool cycle, always cold and with a special wool detergent.

Dry flat and avoid temperature changes. Do not tumble dry. Unsure about your washing program? Then washing carefully by hand is always the safest choice.

Always use a detergent with lanolin for our organic wool clothing.

70% biologische wol / 30% zijde is bijzonder

En dit is waarom: De combinatie van biologische wol en zijde is een van de meest verfijnde die er bestaat. Wol zorgt voor warmte, veerkracht en een natuurlijke isolerende werking; zijde voegt een ongeëvenaarde zachtheid en glans toe. Samen vormen ze een stof die heerlijk warm aanvoelt zonder zwaar te zijn, en die prachtig valt. Het is een materiaal dat je verwent: op je huid, en in je hoofd. Men zegt zelfs, dat de zijde in combinatie met biologische wol prikkel-reducerend is. Wel eens van het woord: "cocoonen" gehoord? Cocoonen betekent je bewust terugtrekken uit de drukke buitenwereld om binnenshuis in alle rust en geborgenheid te ontspannen. Het is afgeleid van het Engelse woord 'cocoon' (cocon), waarbij je je als een (zijde)rups in je eigen veilige coconnetje nestelt om op te laden. Dat is waarom wij zo van zijde, of biologische wol met zijde houden. Het reguleert je lichaamstemperatuur niet alleen, maar zorgt ook voor een beschermende filter. Selfcare dus! Ook fijn voor kindjes die op school veel last hebben van prikkels. Dit helpt ze om beter bij zichzelf te blijven.

Wassen met mate!

Was met de hand in lauwwarm water of gebruik het wolwasprogramma op maximaal 30 graden. Wol en zijde zijn gevoelig voor hitte en beweging, deze veroorzaken krimp.

Wasmiddel met lanoline

Gebruik een mild wolwasmiddel MET Lanoline, zoals ons wolwasmiddel LANALICIOUS.

Drogen

Druk het water er voorzichtig uit, wring nooit. Laat het kledingstuk plat drogen op een droge handdoek, uit de buurt van direct zonlicht.

Extra verzorging

Laat het kledingstuk regelmatig luchten in plaats van wassen. Bewaar het liggend om de vorm te bewaren. Pas je op voor motten?
