Both with and without a hood. Engel generally runs long and narrow. The sleeves are slightly roomier so that you can also wear a wonderfully thick sweater under this jacket. Want to know about not washing it? Wool has a natural self-cleaning effect, which is due to the lanolin (fat) that surrounds the wool fibers. When it gets damp, it becomes a kind of soap. Wool is also able to absorb a lot of moisture, as well as release it. Bacteria that cause unpleasant odors do not like wool. You will therefore mainly find them on synthetic fibers. (And we don't like those). The jacket is excellent to wear while exercising or hiking. The great thing is that you only need to take one jacket with you on vacation or during your hike. Because you can wear it endlessly. This also applies to our merino wool underwear or our socks. Handy: you can bring tools to build a fire. The kids love it: or your wife! Anyway, a jacket for all sorts of occasions.
