Washing instructions for wool-silk

Wool needs to be washed much less often than cotton. Airing is usually enough – hang the bodysuit in the bathroom overnight or outside and it will smell wonderfully fresh again. Need to wash it anyway? Use a COLD wool wash program and as little detergent as possible.

ALWAYS use a detergent with lanolin for our organic wool clothing. Our favorite detergent is Lanalicious. This nourishes the fiber, keeps the wool supple, and protects the natural lanolin. For stains, you can use gall soap – always dab, never rub.
