How do you wash an organic cotton sweater?
Preferably don't wash it after every wear. Airing it out is often enough if it's not dirty. Does it need to go in the wash? Wash it inside out at a low temperature with a little bit of detergent.
By washing it inside out, you protect not only the outside of the fabric but also the beautiful floral print. It's better not to cram the drum full and avoid fabric softener.
Afterward, let the sweater air dry. The dryer is not necessary and can cause cotton to shrink unnecessarily and wear out faster. Gently pull it into shape after washing and let it dry naturally.

Can organic cotton shrink?
Yes, slight shrinkage with cotton can never be completely ruled out. Especially at higher temperatures or in the dryer. That's why we'll say it again: low temperature, no dryer, and gently pull it back into shape after washing.
With cotton sweatshirt fabrics, the fabric can also change shape slightly during wear and washing. That is part of natural fibers. Treat it with a little love and you will enjoy it for much longer.
Is this sweater warm?
