DEDICATED NYDA OWLS blouse made of LENZING™ ECOVERO™ viscose
An owl blouse. But without the forest ranger, bird book, or children's print. The NYDA OWLS from DEDICATED features a dark, almost painterly owl print in black, brown, pink, and blue. From a distance, you mostly see a beautiful abstract print; up close, it turns out there are owls looking back at you everywhere. Cozy. Or slightly intimidating. It just depends on how you look at it.
The blouse is made of soft and flowing LENZING™ ECOVERO™ viscose. It has a classic collar, long sleeves, a concealed button placket, and a straight, relaxed fit. We have the NYDA in two different prints: OWLS and HARVEST.

Owls, but actually cool
Large, loosely drawn owls in brown, dusty pink, and bright blue accents stand out against a dark background. The illustrations blend into each other, making the print look graphic and artistic rather than syrupy. So, no cute little owls with glasses and bows. We’re all just a bit too grown-up for that. We think.
Because the print runs throughout the entire blouse, the exact placement of the owls may vary per piece and size. Each blouse is cut from a different part of the printed fabric. So you always get the same print and colors, but not necessarily the exact same owl in the exact same spot.
A blouse without visible button clutter
The button placket is largely hidden behind an extra strip of fabric. This keeps the front clean and gives the owl print plenty of room to stand out. You can wear the blouse a bit more open at the top or button it all the way up when you're in the mood for a slightly more classic look.
The long sleeves end in straight cuffs and the bottom is rounded. The back is slightly longer, which makes it easy to wear untucked over trousers. The fabric drapes softly along the body and doesn't stand stiffly away from you.
LENZING™ ECOVERO™ viscose
The NYDA is made of LENZING™ ECOVERO™ viscose. This fiber is produced from wood pulp sourced from certified or controlled sources. According to fiber producer Lenzing, production uses less water and energy than the production of regular viscose.
ECOVERO™ viscose feels soft and smooth and has a beautiful, flowing drape. The fabric breathes well and feels light, without being so thin that the blouse clings like a wet rag.
Just to be clear: ECOVERO™ viscose is not the same as TENCEL™. Both fiber brands belong to Lenzing and are made from wood cellulose, but they are different types of fibers and production processes. The sewn-in label on this blouse says LENZING™ ECOVERO™ viscose, so that is the material name we use.
OWLS or HARVEST?
OWLS is the dark and slightly mysterious version. The brown owls almost disappear into the black background, while pink and blue accents make the print lighter and more playful.
HARVEST features the same NYDA model, but with a different print. You are not choosing between two different fits: only the pattern changes. Nice when you like the fit of a model and immediately decide that one piece is obviously a rather arbitrary number.
How to style the NYDA OWLS
The print combines easily with dark jeans, black trousers, or corduroy in brown, burgundy, or green. With dress trousers and shoes, the blouse looks more formal; with jeans and sneakers, it stays very casual.
You can wear it completely untucked, tucked in only at the front, or fully tucked into high-waisted trousers or a skirt. Under a cardigan or jacket, the collar remains visible and enough of the print peeks out to wake up a quiet outfit.
If you want to bring out a color from the print, choose dusty pink, brown, or blue. But simple black trousers work just as well. Not every piece of clothing needs to enter into a complicated partnership.
Fit and size advice
The NYDA has a straight, relaxed fit. It doesn't fit tightly at the waist and offers plenty of room around the chest and stomach. The fabric contains no elastane, but the loose cut allows you to move comfortably.
Choose your usual size if you want to wear the blouse loose and flowing like in the picture. If you prefer a narrower silhouette or if you are between sizes, compare the product measurements below with a well-fitting blouse from your own wardrobe. Pay special attention to the chest circumference and shoulder width.

These are the measurements of the blouse itself, not the body. The chest size is the full circumference of the garment. For a comfortable fit, the blouse should therefore be slightly roomier than your own chest circumference. The extra room needed depends on how loose you like to wear it.
How to care for ECOVERO™ viscose
Viscose is beautifully soft and supple, but it requires more attention during washing than a sturdy cotton T-shirt. Always follow the wash label, wash the blouse inside out on a gentle cycle, and use a mild detergent. A laundry bag protects the fabric against zippers, hooks, and other garments with aggressive hobbies.
Viscose fibers are more vulnerable when wet. Therefore, do not pull or wring out the blouse and do not pile it up dripping wet on a single spot on a drying rack. Let it air dry gently and carefully reshape the blouse. Avoid the dryer.
After washing, viscose may temporarily feel a bit stiffer or smaller. During wear and gentle steaming, the fiber usually relaxes again. Iron on the inside at a low temperature if necessary.
When wearing, watch out for sharp belts, rough jacket zippers, and bags that constantly rub against the same spot. The fabric is supple and refined and finds daily contact with Velcro considerably less cozy than you do.
Frequently asked questions about the DEDICATED NYDA
Is this blouse made of TENCEL™?
No. The label says LENZING™ ECOVERO™ viscose. ECOVERO™ and TENCEL™ are both fiber brands from Lenzing, but they are not the same materials.
Does the NYDA have a fitted look?
No, the blouse has a straight and relaxed fit. It hangs loose around the waist and offers quite a lot of room at the chest.
Is there stretch in the fabric?
The woven ECOVERO™ viscose does not contain elastane and therefore barely stretches. The freedom of movement comes from the roomy fit.
Are the buttons visible?
The blouse has a concealed button placket. Most buttons are hidden behind a strip of fabric, allowing the print to flow uninterrupted.
Is the back longer?
Yes, the rounded hem is slightly longer in the back. This makes it nice to wear the blouse untucked over trousers or a skirt.
Which prints are available?
At Natur-el, we have the NYDA model in two prints: OWLS and HARVEST. The fit is the same; only the print differs.
Is the OWLS print black?
The base is very dark and appears mostly black, with large owls in brown tones and accents in pink and blue. Because of those colors, the print is less harsh than a completely black-and-white blouse.
