HIMALAYA wrist warmers with thumb hole - merino and cashmere for cold hands
This is one of those items you only think about once you’re wearing it: “Why didn’t I have this sooner?” These HIMALAYA wrist warmers are exactly what you need if you suffer from cold hands, cycle often, walk outside, or sit behind your laptop with freezing cold wrists.
Why you want them
They are made from 90% merino wool and 10% cashmere. This blend is pure gold: merino keeps you warm and breathes, while cashmere makes it extra soft and luxurious. The result is a wrist warmer that doesn’t itch, doesn’t prickle, and is still wonderfully warm. And believe me, that is exactly what makes you happy in the winter.
Highlights
- 90% merino wool, 10% cashmere
- Fairtrade produced
- With thumb hole
- Fine ribbed knit: fits nicely
- Mega soft
- Available in multiple colors
Fit & styling
Due to the ribbed structure, they fit snugly without feeling tight. The thumb hole is that kind of detail that makes you think: yes, this is smart. Your hands remain free, but your wrists and part of your hand stay warm. Wear them indoors while working, or outside under your coat. Also nice: combine them with a wool cardigan or scarf in the same color tone for a calm, stylish winter look.
Material & care
Wool really doesn't need to be washed after every wear. In fact, it's better if it isn't. Simply airing them out is usually enough. Do you have to wash them after all? Then do it carefully: use a wool wash program, cold to max 30 degrees, use little detergent, and don't overload the machine. Remove them from the machine immediately after washing and let them dry lying flat.
You can see extra tips here in the video I made especially for you: watch this video But also read our washing guide, which you receive with every purchase, carefully.
And another golden tip: please wash your woolens with a product containing lanolin, such as Lanalicious. Lanalicious contains lanolin, and that is what we consider the most important thing. You don't polish your leather shoes with water, right? That makes no sense at all. Our untreated wool clothing still contains wool fat, i.e., lanolin, and it is precisely that which keeps your woolens antibacterial, soft, and supple. With Lanalicious, you give your wool exactly what it needs. Only fair, right?
Sustainable & fair
These wrist warmers are made fairtrade, and that is exactly why we love having them in our shop. You buy something small, but you are choosing a supply chain where people are treated fairly and where quality is paramount. This is the kind of accessory you will reach for for years, every winter again.
Extra information
The wrist warmers come in several colors, from easy black and navy to beautiful shades that make your outfit just a bit warmer. An ideal gift, by the way. A "small but so fine" winter item.

FAQ
Do these wrist warmers prickle?
No, thanks to the blend of merino and cashmere, they feel very soft and are usually fine for people who are sensitive to itchy wool.
What is the thumb hole for?
With the thumb hole, the wrist warmers stay nicely in place, and you also warm a part of your hand without your fingers being "stuck."
How often should I wash wool wrist warmers?
As little as possible. Airing out is often enough. Wool is naturally antibacterial and stays fresh for a long time.
How do I best wash them if I have to?
Wool wash program, max 30 degrees, little detergent, don't spin-dry too heavily, and let them dry lying flat.
What colors are they available in?
They are available in several colors, such as black, navy, and other seasonal colors (depending on stock).
