Fairtrade beaded brooch – little works of art full of beads, color and character
These are the kind of accessories that automatically make you stop and look. And then look again. And again. Because you keep discovering new details.
Why these brooches are so special
Each brooch is hand-embroidered in India, bead by bead and sequin by sequin. No rush, no mass production, just pure craftsmanship. The shapes vary – a snail, butterfly, moth, hummingbird, or eye – but they all have one thing in common: they are unique.
The colors are rich and layered, with a beautiful mix of luster and depth. These aren't ‘flat’ accessories, but little works of art that immediately give your outfit something extra.
How to wear them (and you can wear them anywhere)
Pin it to your coat, cardigan, or sweater, but they also look wonderful on a scarf or bag. I even see customers combining several brooches at once. A brooch like this really comes into its own on a simple outfit.
Handmade & fairtrade
These brooches are made under fairtrade conditions in India. That means fair wages, safe workplaces, and room for craftsmanship. By buying accessories like these, you directly support the makers and their craft.
Sturdy and practical to use
On the back is a stainless steel pin that closes securely. Sturdy enough for thicker fabrics, but also suitable for a wool sweater or cardigan. Just a tip from me: it's better not to pin it to very thin silk or delicate fabrics.
How to keep them beautiful
It is best to store your brooch separately, for example in a small box. Don’t throw it loosely in your bag and take it off in the rain or when there is a lot of friction, and you will enjoy it for years to come.
Frequently asked questions about these fairtrade brooches
Is every brooch the same?
No. Every brooch is handmade and therefore unique. Shape, color, and size may vary slightly from piece to piece.
Are these brooches heavy?
No, they are surprisingly light, despite the many beads and sequins. They won't pull your clothes out of shape.
Can I give this brooch as a gift?
Certainly. This is the kind of gift that feels personal and special. Small, but with a big story.
Is the brooch produced fairtrade?
Yes. They are made under fairtrade conditions in India, with respect for people and craftsmanship.
Which fabrics can I wear them on?
They are perfect for coats, cardigans, sweaters, and scarves. We don't recommend them for very thin fabrics.
