Heavy cotton with character

Heavy weight means the cotton quality is thicker and sturdier than that of a standard T-shirt. The fabric drapes straight, shows fewer creases, and holds its shape well. This makes MAARKOS excellent for wearing on its own, without the shirt looking limp or like underwear.

The fabric consists of 50% recycled cotton. As a result, small, slightly darker fiber flecks may be visible. This is not a stain or a quality defect, but a normal consequence of the recycling process. We actually think it looks great: it shows that recycled material isn't just a marketing term on the label.

Fit and sizing advice

MAARKOS has a relaxed fit and is cut straight and roomy, without being extremely oversized. This updated version is cut roomier than previous collections. Choose your normal size for the intended relaxed fit. If you prefer to wear the shirt more fitted, you could try a size smaller.

The model in the photo is 186 cm tall and wears size M. MAARKOS has a regular length and falls nicely over the waistband of jeans, chinos, or trousers.

Organic and recycled cotton

The T-shirt consists of 50% organic cotton and 50% recycled cotton. The organic cotton is linked to the OCS standard, and the recycled portion to the GRS standard. This ensures the presence of certified fibers is monitored throughout the production chain. The shirt is also PETA-Approved Vegan.

Washing instructions

Wash MAARKOS inside out at a maximum of 30 degrees with similar colors. Use minimal detergent and do not overfill the machine. Do not bleach and preferably do not tumble dry; air drying helps keep the sturdy fabric and fit looking good for longer. Iron at a low temperature if necessary.
