One side features a beautiful, full textured stitch, while the other side reveals a refined vertical rib. Simply turn it inside out and your outfit immediately looks different.

The mélange yarn consists of various shades of green, petrol, blue, and small color accents. This gives the sweater great depth and makes it surprisingly easy to combine. For example, it looks truly amazing with the green CABLECORD trousers in BALSAM. Coincidentally, we happen to have those as well. How inconvenient for you.

Two different sides

On one side, you see a full, almost grainy knit structure that allows the various colors of the mélange yarn to blend beautifully. If you turn the sweater inside out, a clear vertical rib structure appears. That side looks slightly calmer and longer due to the vertical lines.

So, you don't have to choose which side you like best. One today, the other tomorrow. Or halfway through the day, if you feel like it. We won't stop you.

Soft alpaca with cotton

The sweater consists of 77% alpaca and 23% cotton. Alpaca is light, soft, and temperature-regulating. The fine fibers can hold a lot of air, making the sweater comfortably warm without hanging heavily on your body.

The cotton gives the knit extra stability and makes the material pleasantly breathable. Together, the fibers form a soft, voluminous knit with a light sheen and a vibrant color profile.

Alpaca naturally contains almost no lanolin, but that does not automatically mean that no one can have a reaction to the material. Every skin is different. If you are sensitive to wool or hairy fibers, be sure to come and try on the sweater.

Fit and size advice

The sweater has a regular fit with a straight cut. In principle, choose your usual size. If you want to wear it a bit looser or like to wear a blouse or shirt underneath, you might want to consider a size larger.

The back length in size S, including the stand-up collar, is approximately 63 cm.

Fully fashioned knit

The individual parts of this sweater are knitted directly into the correct shape. As a result, less material needs to be trimmed compared to garments cut from larger pieces of fabric. Of course, clothing without any impact doesn't exist, but we certainly think less cutting waste is a good idea.

How to care for this alpaca sweater

Fortunately, you hardly ever need to wash alpaca. Let the sweater air out after wearing it; usually, that is sufficient. Store it flat so that the weight of the knit does not stretch the shoulders.

Does it need to be washed after all? Wash it carefully by hand in cold to lukewarm water and use a small amount of Lanalicious wool detergent with lanolin. Do not soak for long, do not rub, and do not wring out. Rinse at the same temperature, gently press the water out of the sweater, and let it dry flat in shape. Do not bleach, do not iron, and definitely do not put it in the dryer.

With a soft and voluminous knit, small pills can form due to friction. This is not a sign of poor quality, but a normal property of fine natural fibers. Remove them carefully with the finest side of the Gleener fabric shaver. Work without pressure and do not go over the same spot endlessly.
