And yes, they are just as soft as they look. Made from a luxurious wide-wale corduroy of 96% organic cotton with a touch of stretch, these trousers fit like a glove and move comfortably with you.

What I love so much about this style: it’s effortless and dressy all at once. The wide-leg cut gives you that true Marlene Dietrich silhouette (think: long and powerful), while the soft ribbed fabric and the elastic waistband at the back ensure ultimate comfort. The front waistband lies beautifully flat – perfect for tucking in a blouse or top.

How to style them

With a fitted turtleneck, a printed blouse, or a soft knit – these trousers style themselves. Or check out the matching blazer while you're at it! Care instructions? Easy does it!

Wash at 30 degrees, preferably inside out. Let them air dry flat and show them some love by steaming or hanging them up. This will keep them your favorite trousers for years to come. Please keep in mind that this is corduroy made from organic cotton without plastic, so it is subject to wear and tear. If you plan to wear the trousers very often, it is normal for this to cause some wear. It’s best to rotate your trousers regularly, which significantly extends the lifespan of your clothing.

Biologisch katoen is bijzonder

En dit is waarom:

Biologisch katoen is een van de zachtste en meest huidvriendelijke materialen die er zijn. Het ademt goed, voelt vertrouwd aan en is makkelijk te wassen. Doordat het geteeld wordt zonder synthetische pesticiden of kunstmest, is het ook eerlijker voor de bodem en voor de mensen die het verbouwen. Biologisch katoen bevat minder chemische resten dan gewoon katoen, wat het extra fijn maakt voor mensen met een gevoelige huid — en zeker voor baby's en kinderen. Het is een materiaal dat je gewoon goed voelt: op je huid, en in je hoofd.

Wassen op lage temperatuur

Was biologisch katoen op maximaal 30 of 40 graden in de machine. Gebruik een fijnwasprogramma voor een langere levensduur.

Wasmiddel

Gebruik een mild, bij voorkeur biologisch wasmiddel. Vermijd bleekmiddel, dat tast de vezels aan.

Drogen

Haal je kleding DIRECT uit de wasmachine om wasstrepen te voorkomen. Laat het kledingstuk bij voorkeur aan de lucht drogen. Vermijd drogen in de droger, dat doet meer slecht dan goed voor je textielvezel.

Extra verzorging

Katoen is makkelijk te strijken op een middelhoge temperatuur. Was niet vaker dan nodig, luchten is vaak genoeg!

De broek is gemaakt van een heel mooie kwaliteit ribfluweel en zit heerlijk comfortabel! Vorig jaar dit model ook gekocht in een roodbruine kleur. Daardoor wist ik de maat en pasvorm en kon ik hem online bestellen. Valt goed op maat. Door de stretch sluit hij mooi aan op je lijf, zonder te knellen. Ik ben klein, dus ik moet broekspijpen altijd iets inkorten, maar dat is geen probleem. Ook deze petrolkleur is prachtig en ik kijk ernaar uit om hem te gaan dragen!
