How does the TRANQUILLO ASTRYD cardigan fit?

The ASTRYD has a regular fit and runs true to size. So, in principle, just choose the size you are used to.

The cardigan fits nicely and loosely around the body without being oversized. The length looks great over trousers or a skirt, and because the cardigan isn't extremely long, you can also wear it buttoned up very nicely without it looking heavy.

How does the ASTRYD alpaca cardigan feel?

This is the kind of quality you really have to feel. The base consists of organic cotton, and thanks to the addition of 20% alpaca, the knit gets a soft, slightly fluffy surface. This makes the cardigan look warmer and more luxurious than a standard cotton cardigan.

Can this alpaca cardigan pill?

Yes, absolutely. With a soft and fluffy knit like this, loose fibers can come to the surface due to friction. Especially under the arms, along the sides, and in places where, for example, your bag rubs against the cardigan, lint or small balls can form.

That is inherent to this type of material and does not mean your cardigan is worn out. However, for the ASTRYD, we would really recommend a Gleener fabric shaver. With it, you can carefully remove the lint and keep the knit looking beautiful for much longer.

How do you wash the TRANQUILLO ASTRYD alpaca cardigan?

Preferably as little as possible. Let the cardigan air out in between wears and only wash it when absolutely necessary.

Does it need to be washed? Then always follow the care label and use a detergent suitable for alpaca for this cardigan. We recommend Washpaca detergent for alpaca without lanolin for this.

Preferably do not use wool detergent with added lanolin for alpaca. Alpaca does not naturally contain lanolin and therefore does not need it during washing. Washpaca is specially designed for gently washing alpaca without adding lanolin.

Do not wring after washing and do not tumble dry. Gently reshape the cardigan and let it dry flat.

How do you style the red ASTRYD cardigan?

Very easily. Over blue jeans, the look is essentially done – just look at the photos. But the warm red is also beautiful with dark blue, black, gray, brown, and natural tones.

Wear it buttoned up like a sweater or open over a blouse, T-shirt, or thin turtleneck. And precisely because the ASTRYD has such a simple shape, the color and the beautiful fluffy texture do the rest.
