How does the TRANQUILLO AUDRY polo sweater fit?

The AUDRY has a regular fit and runs true to size. So, generally, you can just choose the size you are used to.

It is not tight against the body, but it isn't oversized either. This makes it very easy to wear with jeans or trousers, but it also looks fantastic with a skirt.

How does the AUDRY with alpaca feel?

The addition of 20% alpaca gives this sweater its beautiful soft and fluffy surface. Alpaca has long, fine fibers and quickly gives a knit that luxurious, slightly fuzzy look that you see so nicely in the photos here.

Because the majority of it consists of organic cotton, this sweater feels and wears differently than a 100% alpaca sweater. You get a very fine combination: the structure and easy comfort of cotton, with the softness and warmth of alpaca.

Does alpaca itch?

Many people find alpaca softer than coarser sheep's wool, but whether a material itches remains very personal. Moreover, the AUDRY is 80% organic cotton and only 20% alpaca, which makes it feel different from a completely wool or alpaca sweater.

Can the TRANQUILLO AUDRY pill?

Yes, it can. And with such a beautiful fluffy sweater, we think it’s important to tell you that upfront. Due to friction, loose fibers can come to the surface and form small bits of fluff or pills. This can happen more quickly in areas where there is a lot of friction – for example, under the arms or where a bag rubs against the sweater.

This doesn't mean there is something wrong with your sweater. It is part of this type of soft and fuzzy knit. What you do need is a good Gleener fabric shaver. With it, you can gently remove the fuzz, and your sweater will look fresh again. We would definitely recommend the Gleener for this sweater.

How do you wash a sweater with alpaca?

As little as possible! Alpaca, like wool, does not need to be washed after every wear. It’s better to let the sweater air out regularly and only wash it when it is really necessary.

Does it need a wash? Then always follow the care label and use a detergent suitable for alpaca. For this, we recommend special Washpaca detergent for alpaca without lanolin.

It is better not to use wool detergent containing lanolin for alpaca. Alpaca does not naturally contain lanolin, so it does not need it. Washpaca has been specially developed for gently cleaning alpaca without adding lanolin.

After washing, let the sweater dry flat and in its proper shape. Do not wring it out and, of course, do not tumble dry.

How do you style the red AUDRY polo sweater?

The nice thing about the polo collar is that this sweater actually does enough on its own without you having to put much effort into your outfit. With blue jeans – like in the photos – it works immediately. But also try it with dark trousers or a black wool skirt.

And the collar with those small buttons makes it just a bit dressier than an ordinary knit sweater. It’s the kind of piece you put on in the morning and are immediately ready to go.
