SKFK knitted sweater LOIOLA RED made of organic cotton
This is red with the volume turned all the way up. The SKFK LOIOLA RED is a women's knitted sweater made of 100% organic cotton, executed in deep burgundy red and bright coral red. The large abstract jacquard pattern runs across both the front and back, making LOIOLA the kind of sweater that allows the rest of your outfit to remain wonderfully simple.
The polo collar with a deep V-neck gives the sturdy knit an open, feminine look. Dropped shoulders and voluminous sleeves create a relaxed silhouette, while the wide ribbed cuffs at the sleeves and hem bring the sweater back into shape nicely. It is spacious and comfortable, without you disappearing into a shapeless knitted bag—after all, there are enough of those already.

A red sweater that doesn't try to be timid
LOIOLA consists of two contrasting shades of red. The base is a deep burgundy color, combined with a large, fluid pattern in bright coral red. In some places, the shapes almost resemble painted brushstrokes. The pattern continues over the shoulders and the back, ensuring the sweater is anything but boring from behind.
Despite the bold design, this red sweater is surprisingly easy to combine. Dark blue denim always works, but LOIOLA also looks beautiful with black, charcoal, cream, dark brown, or wide-legged trousers in eggplant. Prefer even more color? Try pairing it with pink, orange, or purple. With this sweater, you certainly don’t need to behave modestly.
Polo collar with V-neck
The neckline of LOIOLA combines a classic polo collar with a deep V-shape. There are no buttons, allowing the sweater to fall in an open and relaxed way. You can wear it directly against the skin, but it also looks great when combined with a camisole, T-shirt, or blouse underneath.
A blouse makes the look a bit neater; without an extra layer, the V-neck remains a bit more feminine and loose. Thanks to the sturdy cotton, the collar retains its shape and does not hang limp around the neck.
How does the SKFK LOIOLA fit?
LOIOLA has a relaxed fit. The shoulder seams fall deliberately lower than the natural shoulder line, and the sleeves are spacious and voluminous. The wide ribbed cuffs fit more snugly around the wrists, capturing the volume of the sleeves nicely.
There is also a wide ribbed hem at the bottom. It fits a bit more securely and allows the upper part of the sweater to blouse slightly. The style is therefore spacious around the chest, shoulders, and arms, but still takes on a clear shape thanks to the ribbed edges.
Choose your usual size if you want to maintain the intended relaxed fit. If you are between sizes and prefer to wear sweaters that are a bit less loose, you might consider the smaller size. In doubt? Please contact us or come try on the LOIOLA in Rotterdam.
A cotton sweater for those who prefer not to wear wool
Not everyone likes wool or can tolerate it comfortably against their skin. LOIOLA is therefore a great option if you are looking for a sturdy knitted sweater but prefer to choose cotton. The sweater is made of 100% organic cotton and, according to the specified material composition, contains no wool or synthetic fibers.
The medium-weight cotton feels sturdier than a thin knitted summer sweater, but is less insulating than a thick woolen winter sweater. This makes LOIOLA very suitable for spring and autumn, mild winter days, and spaces where the heating works a bit too enthusiastically.
Cotton can absorb moisture and feels smoother than wool. Consequently, the sweater does not have the fuzzy or woolly surface of a merino sweater, but rather a clear, sturdy ribbed structure.
What is a jacquard pattern?
With jacquard, the pattern is incorporated into the material during the knitting process. The red shapes are not a print applied to the sweater later. Both colors are part of the knit.
This gives the pattern more structure and ensures that the colors move nicely with the rib knit. Furthermore, the design remains visible on the back of the sweater. LOIOLA was therefore not just designed for the front and finished in a rush. Always nice.
Organic cotton, GOTS, and Fairtrade Cotton
The LOIOLA sweater is made of 100% organic cotton and is both GOTS-certified and Fairtrade Cotton-certified according to SKFK. The cotton is grown without the conventional synthetic pesticides and fertilizers used in conventional cotton farming.
The certifications also impose verifiable requirements on various parts of the supply chain. Of course, a label does not mean that a piece of clothing has no impact at all. Cultivation, processing, dyeing, production, and transport continue to require resources and energy. For us, the value lies in a better-controlled production chain, the use of organic cotton, and a striking design that you won't forget after just one season.
The sweater is produced in India.
How to wash the SKFK LOIOLA
Wash LOIOLA at a maximum of 30 degrees using a delicate wash program. Turn the sweater inside out before washing and use a mild detergent. This protects the rib knit and keeps the two shades of red looking beautiful for as long as possible.
Do not tumble dry the sweater. Heat can shrink cotton and can affect the shape of the knit. After washing, gently pull LOIOLA into shape and preferably let it dry flat. Avoid a hot radiator and do not hang the wet sweater by the shoulders, as the weight of the moisture can cause the material to stretch.
Preferably store the sweater folded. This keeps the dropped shoulders and wide ribbed edges in the best shape.
