SKFK knitted dress HAIRA BLUE made of organic cotton

The SKFK HAIRA BLUE is one of those dresses that makes your outfit instantly complete. The graphic jacquard print in various shades of blue and black provides plenty of visual impact, while the straight fit is wonderfully easy to wear. Throw on some boots, add tights if you like, and you're good to go.

The dress is knitted from 100% organic cotton and is GOTS-certified. The medium-weight knit features a high collar, long sleeves, and a comfortable fit. Warm enough for cooler days, but without feeling like you're permanently wearing a heavy wool sweater.

How to keep your knitted cotton looking great

Do not wash the dress more often than necessary. Wash it inside out at a maximum of 30°C with a small amount of mild detergent and do not overload the machine. Remove the dress from the machine immediately after washing, gently pull it back into shape, and let it dry flat. Do not wring and do not tumble dry.

Store knitted clothing folded in your closet. On a hanger, the cotton can stretch under its own weight or become misshapen at the shoulders. In this video on caring for knitted garments, I show you the best way to do this.

A snag in the knit?

With knitted cotton, be a little careful with rings, bags, and rough surfaces. If a loop does appear, definitely do not cut it or pull on it. With our Wonder Needle for pulling through snags, you can carefully work the loop to the inside. Then, gently massage the knit back into shape. This way, a small snag doesn't have to turn into a major wardrobe disaster.

Biologisch katoen is bijzonder

En dit is waarom:

Biologisch katoen is een van de zachtste en meest huidvriendelijke materialen die er zijn. Het ademt goed, voelt vertrouwd aan en is makkelijk te wassen. Doordat het geteeld wordt zonder synthetische pesticiden of kunstmest, is het ook eerlijker voor de bodem en voor de mensen die het verbouwen. Biologisch katoen bevat minder chemische resten dan gewoon katoen, wat het extra fijn maakt voor mensen met een gevoelige huid — en zeker voor baby's en kinderen. Het is een materiaal dat je gewoon goed voelt: op je huid, en in je hoofd.

Wassen op lage temperatuur

Was biologisch katoen op maximaal 30 of 40 graden in de machine. Gebruik een fijnwasprogramma voor een langere levensduur.

Wasmiddel

Gebruik een mild, bij voorkeur biologisch wasmiddel. Vermijd bleekmiddel, dat tast de vezels aan.

Drogen

Haal je kleding DIRECT uit de wasmachine om wasstrepen te voorkomen. Laat het kledingstuk bij voorkeur aan de lucht drogen. Vermijd drogen in de droger, dat doet meer slecht dan goed voor je textielvezel.

Extra verzorging

Katoen is makkelijk te strijken op een middelhoge temperatuur. Was niet vaker dan nodig, luchten is vaak genoeg!
