The LIVING CRAFTS wool sweater BASTIAN in SAND is one of those sweaters that looks calm, but reveals a lot of beauty up close. It is knitted from soft mélange tweed yarn with small flecks in various natural shades. This makes the color SAND anything but boring, and it combines easily with jeans, dark blue, brown, green, and actually about half of your wardrobe.

The sweater is made of 100% organic wool. Wonderfully warm, breathable, and completely free of synthetic fibers. The Regular Fit is comfortable without being tight or overly baggy. A fine wool men's sweater for daily use, from working at home to family dinners and everything in between.

A sand-colored sweater that doesn't fall flat

A solid sand-colored sweater can sometimes turn out a bit plain. Fortunately, that doesn't happen with BASTIAN. The mélange tweed yarn consists of different nuances and small colored fibers. This gives the sweater a lively, natural look without it being busy.

You can wear it very easily with jeans or cotton trousers. With a shirt underneath, it looks a bit dressier, while with a T-shirt, it stays nice and relaxed. In short: a good basic sweater, but one with character.

What does fully-fashioned knitted mean?

BASTIAN is fully-fashioned knitted. This means that the individual parts are made directly into the right shape during the knitting process. The fit is therefore created during the knitting itself and is not cut out from large straight pieces of fabric afterwards.

As a result, the shoulders, sleeves, and neck fit better, and the sweater retains its shape better. The rib-knitted cuffs at the sleeves, neck, and bottom ensure a neat finish and keep the sweater comfortably in place.

How does the LIVING CRAFTS BASTIAN fit?

This men's wool sweater has a Regular Fit: straight and comfortable, but not shapeless. Choose the size you normally wear. If you want to easily wear a shirt or a thicker longsleeve underneath and you are between two sizes? Then we would choose the larger size.

The round neck fits neatly without coming up high on the neck. This allows you to wear BASTIAN both directly over an undershirt or over a button-down shirt.

Does this wool sweater itch?

The sweater is made of soft wool tweed yarn, but how wool feels on the skin remains personal. Some people can wear wool on bare skin without any problems, while others feel every single wool fiber immediately. Are you sensitive to wool? Then wear a thin cotton or wool-silk shirt underneath.

How to care for the BASTIAN wool sweater

Fortunately, wool does not need to be washed after every wear. Let the sweater air out regularly and give it a rest in between. This is better for the wool fibers and saves a large pile of laundry.

Is washing necessary? Then use a wool wash cycle of at most 30 degrees, a low spin speed, and a suitable wool detergent, such as our Lanalicious wool detergent with lanolin. Do not use regular detergent or fabric softener and do not put the sweater in the dryer. Gently reshape it after washing and let it dry flat.
