Living Crafts wool and silk leggings for women
Living Crafts wool silk women's underwear
We always say, do yourself a favor and treat yourself to a "woolly." But what exactly is a "woolly"? In general, we mean our wool silk underwear. But this could just as well be these leggings or long johns made of wool and silk. It is best to wear wool underwear directly against your bare skin. Wool is a hollow fiber, which allows it to adopt and insulate your body temperature. Because of the scales, like those in your own hair, wool breathes, unlike its synthetic "friends."
These leggings or long johns are made of 70% merino wool and 30% silk
The wool is organic and certified with the IVN Best certificate. This is essentially the very best you can find in organic wool. The leggings have a close fit. Wool and wool silk are incredibly stretchy, but they look best when they fit snugly, as that allows the wool to do its job most effectively.
In principle, you do not need to wash wool. The best way to care for your wool is to let it rest for 24 hours after wearing it. You can hang your undershirt, shirt, or long-sleeved top in the bathroom or leave it outside overnight to air out. Lanolin enhances this self-cleaning process. When the wool gets a little damp, it becomes slightly "soapy." It is not strange to go half a year without washing your wool, but it is important to air it out.
After washing, make sure to pull your shirt into shape, primarily lengthwise. If you don't do this, it may shrink due to the washing process. If you pull your leggings back into shape lengthwise, they will stay nice and long. Handy, as it allows you to tuck them into your pants, keeping your back nice and warm too.
