Fit & styling

The TIRZA has a classic, fitted sheath cut that follows the body and creates a sleek silhouette. Thanks to the knitted flannel jersey, it feels more supple than a traditional, tightly woven office dress. It is smart, yet comfortable enough for movement.

The dress is unlined. Wear it with tights, ankle boots, and a blazer to work or a dinner party. Paired with tall boots and a long cardigan, it becomes softer and more informal. CHOCO combines beautifully with black, ecru, camel, rust, petrol, and dark blue.

Are you planning on cycling in it constantly? Then this dress might be slightly less suitable. Due to sitting and pedaling, the jersey may temporarily take on the shape of your saddle. After washing, the dress will return to its original shape, but for daily long bike rides, we would honestly choose a looser dress. For a quick trip to the store, you certainly don't have to take the car.

Material & comfort

The dress consists of 57% organic virgin wool and 43% organic cotton. Both materials come from controlled organic farming and animal husbandry (kbA/KbT). The cotton makes the fabric softer and more accessible, while the wool adds warmth, breathability, and an elegant appearance.

LANIUS follows a strict no-mulesing policy for the wool used. Are you very sensitive to wool? The wearing comfort is always a personal experience. If so, feel free to come and try the dress on in our shop first.

Washing and care

Luckily, you don't need to wash wool after every wear. Often, simply airing it out is sufficient. Does the dress need a wash? Wash it on a wool cycle, at a low spin speed, and according to the temperature on the wash label. Do not tumble dry and preferably let it dry flat. After washing, the jersey will pull back into its original shape.

Because this dress contains a significant amount of cotton alongside wool, it is best not to wash it with Lanalicious. The lanolin in it can leave white streaks on the cotton. For this material blend, it is better to choose a wool detergent without lanolin. Washpaca, for example, is suitable as it contains no lanolin.

Is the dress lined?
No, the TIRZA is not lined.

Can I cycle in it?
A short trip is fine. For long or frequent bike rides, the fabric may temporarily take on the shape of the saddle. After a wool wash, the dress will return to its shape.

Which detergent can I use?
Use a wool detergent without lanolin, such as Washpaca. We do not recommend Lanalicious for this dress due to the high percentage of cotton.
