Wide trousers that still look well-dressed
LOLA has a high waist and generous pleats at the front. Those pleats provide extra freedom of movement around the hips and thighs while creating a beautiful, long silhouette. From the hip down, the trouser legs fall wide and almost straight.
So, the trousers are truly wide, but they don't look sloppy thanks to the neat waistband and pleat detail. Wear them with sneakers and a loose sweater for a comfortable daily outfit, or pair them with ankle boots and a blouse when you want to look a bit dressier. Even a simple T-shirt suddenly makes it look like you put thought into your outfit when wearing LOLA. Even if you didn't. That’s nice too.
How does the LOLA trouser fit?
LOLA has a relaxed, wide fit with a high waist. In principle, choose your usual size for the look as KOMODO intended. When determining the size, pay particular attention to the waist: the trousers are supposed to fit loosely around the hips and legs.
The KOMODO model is 170 cm tall and wears size 2, comparable to a size 38 (EU). In the photo, you can see that the trouser legs fall long and cover the shoes generously. If you are shorter, there is a chance the trousers will need to be shortened. Fortunately, this is quite easy due to the straight hem.
The fabric consists of 100% cotton and contains no elastane. The waistband therefore does not stretch like sweatpants. If you are between two sizes, choose the size that fits comfortably around your waist. Cotton corduroy becomes more supple with wear, but it won't suddenly turn into elastic.
Long, loose, and wonderfully comfortable
The long, wide legs give LOLA her modern and relaxed appearance. They fall loosely around the legs and offer plenty of room to move. This makes these trousers very suitable for days when you want to look polished but aren't in the mood for tight trousers that suddenly develop personal grievances against your stomach after lunch.
Wear LOLA high-waisted with a blouse or sweater partially tucked in to keep the pleat detail clearly visible. Want a more nonchalant look? Let a roomy knit, blouse, or cardigan fall loosely over the waist. The wide trouser legs will remain well-balanced even then.
What color is KHAKI?
For these trousers, KHAKI is a dark, warm shade with both olive green and brown tones. In bright daylight, the green becomes more prominent, while indoors, the trousers may look a bit darker and browner. Thanks to the rib structure, the fabric catches the light differently, ensuring the color never looks completely flat.
KHAKI combines easily with ecru, sand, camel, dark blue, rust, chocolate brown, and various shades of green. A colorful or mottled sweater also works beautifully with it. The color is calm enough to use as a base, but more interesting than standard black. Sad khaki? Not at all. There is far too much going on in this fabric for that.
Make it a complete corduroy suit

LOLA is made from 100% organic cotton and is completely vegan. The trousers are produced in a SEDEX-audited factory. SEDEX is a system that, among other things, monitors working conditions, health, safety, and business operations within the production chain.
Organic cotton also has an impact, of course. Resources, dye, water, energy, transport, and labor are required to make a pair of trousers. That is why we think it is at least as important that a garment is sturdy, can be worn for a long time, and is easy to combine in various ways. Fortunately, that is exactly the case with LOLA.
How to keep LOLA looking beautiful
Corduroy is sturdy, but treat the fabric with a little love. Wash LOLA inside out at a maximum of 30 degrees, preferably on a gentle or short cycle. Close the button and zipper beforehand and use a small amount of mild detergent. Wash the trousers with similar dark colors.
Take LOLA out of the washing machine immediately afterward, shake her out gently, and pull the trousers into shape. Let them air dry and avoid the dryer. This way, the deep color, long fit, and soft rib structure stay beautiful for longer.
Do you want to iron the trousers? Do so inside out at a low temperature. Do not press the iron too hard on the fabric, as this can flatten the ribs. Often, hanging them while damp is sufficient to make most wrinkles disappear. Always check the sewn-in care label just to be sure.
