(H)onest 100% wool socks? Even grandma never knitted them this beautiful, warm, and soft!

Made from 100% GOTS-certified organic wool, so you can be sure the sheep have a good life,
and happy sheep don't just give us beautiful, honest wool, but also warm feet! These socks have grips: this way you won't slip on your parquet or tiled floors and your feet will stay warm too. By the way: wool socks with non-slip grips are not wear-resistant: they too will wear out over time.

You don't have to wash these socks. Wool has the fantastic property of being self-cleaning.

So hang them out overnight, and you can wear them again the next day! You are allowed to wash them on a cold wool cycle. If you want to know exactly how that works, you can also watch our vlog. In it, we explain in detail how this works with not washing your socks.

Please note! Wool socks are inviting to wear around the house, which is no problem of course: but always do so inside shoes or slippers. If you wear 100% wool socks as house socks, they will wear out quickly and holes will form. These are easy to "darn," by the way. You can find instructions for this on YouTube. Additionally, wool socks are slippery: be careful when walking on stairs! Holes cannot be entirely prevented, unfortunately. Over time, 100% wool socks will wear out. Furthermore, it is important that wool socks are not chosen too large or too small. Well-fitting footwear is also important to extend the lifespan of your socks.

Wol is fantastisch

En dit is waarom:

Wol is een natuurlijk materiaal dat heerlijk warm aanvoelt en tegelijkertijd juist goed ademt. Het helpt je lichaamstemperatuur op een fijne manier in balans te houden, zodat je het minder snel te warm of te koud krijgt. Daarnaast kan wol veel vocht opnemen zonder klam aan te voelen, wat het extra comfortabel maakt. Door de natuurlijke eigenschappen blijft wol vaak langer fris, waardoor je het minder vaak hoeft te wassen. Ook is wol sterk, veerkrachtig en gaat het bij goed onderhoud jarenlang mee. Het is dus niet alleen fijn om te dragen, maar ook een mooie, duurzame keuze.

Was koud of lauw

Was wol altijd voorzichtig koud of op maximaal 30 graden, ALTIJD met een wolwasprogramma. Wol krimpt bij temperatuurswisselingen, deze heb je niet bij een wolwasprogramma. Let op, wolwas programma is en essentie anders dan het handwasprogramma!

Gebruik wolwasmiddel

Kies altijd een mild wolwasmiddel en vermijd gewone wasmiddelen, omdat die de wolvezel kunnen beschadigen.

Niet wringen of slepen

Behandel wol rustig, laat het niet zwaar uithangen als het nat is. Wring de wol nooit uit. Druk het water er voorzichtig uit en laat het kledingstuk plat drogen op een handdoek.

Luchten is het beste!

In principe volstaat luchten ook. Was alleen als het echt nodig is!
