HIMALAYA Striped cardigan NALA BLUE made of 100% alpaca
We simply COULD NOT leave this one behind! What an incredibly beautiful cardigan made of 100% alpaca. The cardigan is not very thick and is therefore perfectly suited for transitional seasons. You know, when it is just too cold for cotton alone, and too warm to wear only wool.
Then our Nala is a wonderful intermediate solution!
Check out those beautiful colors and pattern: love it!
How do you wash a pure wool cardigan?
Our advice is not to wash the cardigans, or to wash them as little as possible. In fact, airing out your wool cardigan is enough. You can hang it outside for a night, in an open window, or in the bathroom. Wool has a self-cleaning property, so the chance of your wool starting to smell is very small! Do you still want to wash it? Then wash your wool cardigans or sweaters on a wool cycle with a wool detergent that contains lanolin. That is very important, because your wool wants to be well cared for. We made an extensive video about washing your wool underwear.

My wool sweater is pilling, what can I do?
It is possible that the wool will pill a little. This is completely normal and part of the fabric's properties. You can remove these with a fabric shaver. Do this carefully and test on an inconspicuous area first. You can also find fabric shavers in our webshop. Never "pick" at your wool. That only makes it worse, because you are pulling the wool fibers loose again. This ensures that the pilling will not stop.
