GIVN organic cotton corduroy chino KLAAS BLUE

A pair of corduroy trousers that feel soft but still look smart. The GIVN KLAAS BLUE is made from organic cotton and features a comfortable, straight fit. The corduroy fabric is pre-washed, making it wonderfully soft from the very first moment. No need for a weeks-long breaking-in period.

The deep blue colour is easy to style, making these corduroy chinos suitable for almost any occasion. Wear them casually with a jumper and trainers, a little dressier with a shirt, or combine them with the matching GIVN overshirt KURT BLUE for a complete corduroy suit.

Chinos with the comfort of corduroy

KLAAS has the neat appearance of a chino, but thanks to the soft corduroy fabric, it feels much less stiff. The trousers have a straight fit and offer plenty of room to move without being overly baggy. This makes them perfect for both work and your days off.

Corduroy is known for its raised ribbed texture, which gives these trousers their characteristic soft feel and provides a little extra warmth on cooler days.

Fit and size advice

KLAAS has a regular fit, a mid-rise waist, and straight legs. In principle, choose your usual size. Want to be sure which size fits best? Compare the measurements below with a well-fitting pair of trousers from your own wardrobe.

The waist width and hem are measured with the trousers laid flat and are therefore half circumferences.

GOTS-certified and vegan

The organic cotton is GOTS-certified. This ensures not only the use of organic fibres but also adherence to ecological and social standards during processing and production. The trousers also carry the PETA-Approved Vegan label and contain no materials of animal origin.

KLAAS is produced under fair conditions in Paredes, Portugal.

How to care for corduroy trousers

Always follow the wash label and wash the trousers inside out with a mild detergent. Preferably let them air dry and avoid the tumble dryer, so the colour and ribbed structure stay looking good for longer. Does the fabric look a bit flat after washing? Gently iron or brush the ribs in the direction of the grain.

Biologisch katoen is bijzonder

En dit is waarom:

Biologisch katoen is een van de zachtste en meest huidvriendelijke materialen die er zijn. Het ademt goed, voelt vertrouwd aan en is makkelijk te wassen. Doordat het geteeld wordt zonder synthetische pesticiden of kunstmest, is het ook eerlijker voor de bodem en voor de mensen die het verbouwen. Biologisch katoen bevat minder chemische resten dan gewoon katoen, wat het extra fijn maakt voor mensen met een gevoelige huid — en zeker voor baby's en kinderen. Het is een materiaal dat je gewoon goed voelt: op je huid, en in je hoofd.

Wassen op lage temperatuur

Was biologisch katoen op maximaal 30 of 40 graden in de machine. Gebruik een fijnwasprogramma voor een langere levensduur.

Wasmiddel

Gebruik een mild, bij voorkeur biologisch wasmiddel. Vermijd bleekmiddel, dat tast de vezels aan.

Drogen

Haal je kleding DIRECT uit de wasmachine om wasstrepen te voorkomen. Laat het kledingstuk bij voorkeur aan de lucht drogen. Vermijd drogen in de droger, dat doet meer slecht dan goed voor je textielvezel.

Extra verzorging

Katoen is makkelijk te strijken op een middelhoge temperatuur. Was niet vaker dan nodig, luchten is vaak genoeg!
