Why warm wrists make such a difference
Your blood vessels lie relatively close to the skin at your wrists. When you keep that area warm, your hands often feel more comfortable as well. Wrist warmers are therefore ideal when gloves are just a bit too much, but bare wrists prove to be clearly too optimistic.
Wear them while working at your computer, in a cool shop or workspace, on the bike, or simply at home when your hands are cold. You can tuck them under the sleeves of your coat or sweater, but the pattern is actually much too fun to hide completely.
LISA belongs to the ISA series
The LISA wrist warmers are made in the same pattern as the other items in the ISA series. We also have a matching wool cardigan, a hat, ear warmers, and leg warmers. So you can mix and match to your heart's content.
Going for the full set? Then you'll be warm, colorful, and quite FLOMAX from head to toe. If you find that a bit too enthusiastic, the wrist warmers are a fun way to add just a little more color to a subtle coat or sweater.
BURGUNDY STRIPES: warm, colorful, and not frumpy
The name BURGUNDY STRIPES might suggest that you mainly get burgundy stripes, but the pattern contains many more colors and details. Between the burgundy and rust-colored sections, you'll see blue, turquoise, green, and small natural-colored accents.
This makes the wrist warmers surprisingly easy to match with different coats, cardigans, and sweaters. Beautiful with denim and dark blue, warm with rust and burgundy, and wonderfully colorful with green or turquoise.
Organic IVN wool from FLOMAX
The wrist warmers are made from pure wool from controlled organic animal husbandry (IVN). IVN standards include requirements for animal welfare, nutrition, and the use of harmful substances.
FLOMAX produces the collection regionally around Gächingen on the Swabian Alb. The entire production process takes place within a radius of about 35 kilometers around the company. This makes these wrist warmers truly Made in Germany.
How to care for wool wrist warmers
Fortunately, you don't have to wash wool often. Let the wrist warmers air out regularly and treat a small stain locally first, very gently.
Do they need a full wash after all? Use the wool wash cycle, a low temperature, and a low spin speed. Wash them with a wool detergent containing lanolin, such as our own LANALICIOUS detergent for wool and silk. A little bit is enough. After washing, gently pull the wrist warmers into shape and let them dry flat. Do not wring them out and do not put them in the dryer.
Removing pilling with the Gleener
Small pills or lint can form on pure wool due to wearing and friction against sleeves or a coat. This is normal and does not mean the wool is of poor quality.
Use the GLEENER fabric shaver to gently remove those pills. Choose the appropriate attachment, lay the wrist warmer flat, and work quietly over the knit. This way, the colorful pattern will stay beautiful for longer.
