Engel Natur wool-silk baby pants – the softest pants for your little one

There are certain baby clothes that make you smile the moment you hold them. These wool-silk pants from Engel Natur are exactly that: soft, warm, stretchy, and so comfortable that your baby can literally drift off to sleep in them. Made from 70% organic wool and 30% silk – pure nature and ideal for the smallest ones.

Why these pants are so loved

The wide waistband does not press on the tummy, which is wonderful for babies with cramps or a sensitive stomach. And because both the waistband and the foot cuffs can be folded, these pants easily grow along for a few sizes. Convenient, since babies grow faster than you can keep up with the laundry.

Roomy fit & suitable for cloth diapers

These pants have a roomy, long fit and offer more than enough space for washable cotton or wool diapers. They are also ideal for babies who love to move around: the fabric stretches without being tight. In winter, you can simply tuck wool tights underneath, and in summer, wear them with bare legs.

Wool and silk together form a soft, warm, and breathable layer that keeps the body at the right temperature – without sweating. Silk reduces irritation and feels wonderfully smooth on the skin, making these pants well-tolerated even by the most sensitive babies. Because Engel does not use any superwash or chemical treatments, the natural lanolin is preserved. Consequently, allergic reactions are rare.

Please note: wool can wear out

Wool is a natural material and not indestructible. Especially when your baby starts crawling, wear and tear may occur on the knees. Want to delay this? Use anti-slip crawling pads, which protect the fabric and ensure the pants stay looking nice for longer.

Washing advice for wool-silk

You almost never need to wash wool. Hanging it outside for a night is often enough. Has your baby had an accident? Then wash the pants carefully COLD and use as little friction as possible. For stains, gall soap is ideal: always dab, never rub.

For our organic wool clothing, ALWAYS use a detergent with lanolin. Our favorite detergent is Lanalicious. This nourishes the fiber and keeps the pants soft and supple.
