Engel Natur baby pants wool-silk – the softest pants for your little one

Made from 70% organic wool and 30% silk – pure nature and ideal for the smallest ones.

Why these pants are so popular

The wide waistband does not press on the tummy, which is wonderful for babies with cramps or a sensitive stomach. And because both the waistband and the ankle cuffs can be folded over, these pants easily grow along with your baby for a few sizes. Handy, because babies grow faster than you can keep up with the laundry.

Generous fit & suitable for cloth diapers

These pants have a generous and long fit, offering more than enough room for washable cotton or wool diapers. These pants are also ideal for babies who love to move around: the fabric stretches without being tight. In winter, simply wear wool tights underneath; in summer, wear them with bare legs.

Soft, non-irritating & pure nature

Wool and silk together form a soft, warm, and breathable layer that keeps the body at the right temperature – without sweating. Silk reduces irritation and feels wonderfully smooth on the skin, making these pants well-tolerated even by the most sensitive babies. Because Engel uses no superwash or chemical treatments, the natural lanolin is preserved. As a result, allergic reactions are rare.

Please note: wool can wear out

Wool is a natural material and not indestructible. Especially when your baby starts crawling, wear and tear may occur on the knees. Want to delay this? Use crawling pads with anti-slip, which protect the fabric and ensure the pants stay looking nice for longer.

Washing advice for wool-silk

You hardly ever need to wash wool. Hanging it out for a night is often enough. Did your baby have an accident? Wash the pants carefully by hand in COLD water and use as little friction as possible. For stains, gall soap is ideal: always dab, never rub.

ALWAYS use a detergent with lanolin for our organic wool clothing. Our favorite detergent is Lanalicious. This nourishes the fiber and keeps the pants soft and supple.
