DEDICATED corduroy bootcut trousers RYDA GREEN made from organic cotton
Bootcut is back. Or perhaps it never really went away. The RYDA by DEDICATED is a modern pair of corduroy trousers with a mid-rise waist, a regular fit around the hips and thighs, and legs that widen subtly from the knee down. It captures that lovely seventies silhouette without making you look like a member of ABBA.
These trousers are made from 100% GOTS-certified organic cotton. The fine corduroy has a firm yet soft feel and gives the deep dark green color extra depth. Because the fabric contains no elastane, we recommend checking the size chart carefully.

Bootcut without the massive flare
The RYDA has a regular fit along the hips and thighs and gradually widens from the knee down. The legs are distinctly bootcut, but not excessively wide. This gives you a beautiful, long silhouette without the trousers swallowing your shoes and half the sidewalk.
The slight flare at the bottom balances the proportions nicely and combines easily with sneakers, loafers, boots, and sturdy footwear. That is, of course, where the name "bootcut" comes from: the leg falls over the top of your shoes.
Mid-rise waist and classic pockets
The waist sits at a medium height. Not extremely high up to your ribs, and not so low that we are being thrown back to the early noughties. Just comfortable around the middle.
There are two curved slash pockets and a small coin pocket at the front. At the back, the RYDA has two classic patch pockets. The trousers close with a zipper and a metal button and feature belt loops.
Deep dark green corduroy
GREEN is a deep forest green color that can appear almost black in low light. As soon as light hits the ribs, the green becomes more clearly visible. That interplay between light and dark is exactly what makes corduroy so beautiful.
The color pairs easily with black, navy, cream, grey, cognac, rust brown, and wine red. Wear the trousers with a black sweater for a low-key outfit, or pair them with a light blouse or a bold color if you want the green to stand out more.
Fine corduroy made of 100% organic cotton
The RYDA is made of fine-ribbed corduroy. This narrower rib gives the trousers structure but looks calmer and more refined than very coarse corduroy. The fabric has enough firmness to let the bootcut model stand out beautifully.
The composition is 100% organic cotton. No polyester or elastane has been added. The cotton may become slightly more supple as you wear it and mold slightly to your body, but do not expect a real stretch pant. Choosing the right size is more important here than optimistically trying to negotiate yourself into a size that is too small.
Fit and size advice
The RYDA has a mid-rise waist and a regular fit around the hips and thighs. The legs taper subtly from the knee. Because the fabric contains no elastane, it is best to measure a well-fitting pair of trousers that doesn't have much stretch and compare those measurements with the table below.
Measure the waistband and the seat of the trousers laid flat and double that width to get the circumference. Measure the inseam from the crotch along the inside of the leg down to the hem.
Please note: at Natur-el, we only carry the RYDA in sizes 27 through 32. Therefore, only these available sizes are listed below.

These are the measurements of the trousers provided by DEDICATED. Since your own body measurements and the dimensions of a garment are not the same, comparing with a well-fitting pair of trousers is usually the most effective method.
If you fall between two sizes or would like more room to move around the stomach, hips, or thighs? Choose the larger size. Without elastane, an extra centimeter is often more comfortable than holding your breath all day.
How long is the RYDA?
The inseam for our available sizes ranges from 79.5 to 81.5 cm. How the trousers fit you depends on your height, leg length, and the shoes you wear them with.
With bootcut trousers, the hem can be slightly longer than with straight-leg trousers, but it shouldn't constantly drag on the ground. Therefore, compare the inseam with trousers that you like the fit of and take the height of your shoes into account.
GOTS-certified organic cotton
The corduroy is made of GOTS-certified organic cotton. GOTS stands for Global Organic Textile Standard and sets requirements for the organic origin of fibers, the processing of the material, and social criteria within the production chain.
This does not mean that a pair of trousers is made without any impact at all. Cotton, dyeing, production, and transport still require raw materials, water, and energy. However, the certification ensures verifiable requirements within the chain. In this context, "organic" is not just a fancy label.
How to style green bootcut trousers
For a simple daily outfit, wear the RYDA with a T-shirt or a fine-knit sweater and sneakers. With a blouse, blazer, and loafers, the trousers become instantly dressier. A chunky knit sweater and ankle boots highlight the warm, autumnal appearance of the corduroy.
Due to the regular fit at the top, the trousers pair nicely with both short and longer tops. Tuck a blouse or shirt partially into the waistband to further emphasize the bootcut shape, or wear a shorter sweater that ends around the waistband.
How to keep green corduroy looking great
Wash the trousers inside out and close the zipper and button before washing. Select a gentle cycle at the temperature indicated on the wash label and use a small amount of mild detergent. Wash the trousers with similar dark colors.
Avoid an overcrowded drum, as prolonged friction can crush the rib structure. Remove the trousers from the machine immediately after washing, shake them out gently, and hang them neatly to dry. The tumble dryer can cause cotton to shrink and is therefore not recommended.
Do you want to iron the trousers? Do so inside out at a low to medium temperature and do not press hard on the ribs. With some steam and a soft garment brush, you can refresh the corduroy structure nicely. Always check the care label inside the trousers first.
Wear and tear on corduroy
Corduroy is sturdy, but in areas with frequent friction, the pile can become flatter or lighter over time. Think of the inner thighs, the seat area, and places where a bag constantly rubs against the fabric.
This is normal wear and tear and is part of how corduroy ages. Rotate your trousers regularly and wash only when necessary. This gives the fibers a rest and keeps the structure looking beautiful for longer.
Frequently asked questions about the DEDICATED RYDA GREEN
How does the RYDA fit?
The trousers have a mid-rise waist and a regular fit around the hips and thighs. The legs widen subtly from the knee down.
Is there any stretch in the trousers?
No. The RYDA consists of 100% organic cotton and contains no elastane. The cotton may become slightly more supple during wear, but the trousers do not have any real stretch.
What sizes do you carry?
At Natur-el, the RYDA is available in sizes 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, and 32. We do not have other sizes of this model in stock.
Is bootcut the same as flared?
The models are similar, but a bootcut usually flares more subtly. With the RYDA, the leg starts to widen from the knee, without the very wide bottom of a pronounced flared trouser.
What shade of green is this?
GREEN is a deep, dark forest green color. Due to the ribbed structure, the trousers sometimes appear almost black and sometimes more clearly green, depending on the light.
Are the trousers GOTS-certified?
Yes. The RYDA is made from GOTS-certified organic cotton.
How do I choose the right size?
Measure a pair of trousers that fits you well and compare the waist, hip, and inseam measurements with our table. If you are in doubt between two sizes, it is better to choose the larger size for these trousers, as they contain no elastane.
