Fit and size advice

ASTRAEAAS has a loose fit and a mid-waist that sits around the middle of the waist. From the hip, the legs run wide and almost straight down, which gives the jeans their striking wide silhouette without fitting tightly around the thighs.

Because the fabric contains no elastane, the trousers do not stretch like stretch jeans. Therefore, choose your usual jeans size and pay particular attention to the fit at the waist. Are you between sizes or would you like a bit of extra room? Then it is wise to try them on. The model in the photo is 177 cm tall, has a hip circumference of 91 cm, and is wearing size 27/32.

We sell ASTRAEAAS exclusively in length 32, with an inseam of approximately 80 cm.

Material and certification

The denim consists of 42% organic cotton, 38% TENCEL™ Lyocell, and 20% recycled cotton. TENCEL™ Lyocell is a wood-based cellulose fiber that gives the sturdy denim a slightly softer drape without adding stretch.

The organic cotton is OCS Blended certified and the recycled cotton is RCS Blended certified. These standards verify the presence and traceability of the certified fibers within the production chain.

How to care for dark denim

Wash jeans only when absolutely necessary. Turn them inside out, close the buttons, and wash with similar dark colors according to the care label, at a maximum of 40 degrees. Use little detergent, do not bleach, and do not tumble dry. Let the trousers air dry and iron at a low temperature if necessary. Dark denim may bleed some color, especially at the beginning; that is part of a deep wash like INK.
