How does the ARMEDANGELS KIAANO TWEED fit?
KIAANO has a straight regular fit and is true to size to slightly generous. The guy in the photo is about 189 cm tall and is wearing a size XL. The sweater fits him comfortably and loosely, without immediately looking very oversized.
In principle, choose the size you normally wear. Are you between two sizes or want to prevent the sweater from becoming too loose while wearing? Then choose the smaller size. If you prefer a looser fit or like to wear a shirt underneath, you can take your usual size.
Keep in mind that a chunky knit can become a bit looser while wearing due to body heat, movement, and the weight of the material. Therefore, do not hang the sweater on a hanger for long periods; store it folded.

65% organic cotton and 35% recycled wool
The majority of the sweater consists of OCS-certified organic cotton. The cotton is grown according to organic farming guidelines. The wool is recycled and GRS-certified. The Global Recycled Standard verifies the recycled content and also sets requirements for social, environmental, and chemical aspects of processing.
The combination of cotton and wool is very pleasant when you want the warmth and look of a wool sweater but prefer not to wear a 100% wool garment. The cotton gives the knit a familiar and comfortable feel. The recycled wool provides extra warmth, structure, and that beautiful tweed look.
Are you very sensitive to wool? Keep in mind that KIAANO does contain 35% wool. Most people just wear it over a T-shirt, long-sleeve, or shirt, so the knit does not touch the skin directly everywhere.
How to style DARK EARTH

How to care for this wool-cotton sweater
ARMEDANGELS recommends hand washing for KIAANO. Wash the sweater as little as possible and let it air out in between. If it must be washed? Use cold water and a small amount of Lanalicious wool detergent. Do not rub or wring hard.
Let the sweater dry flat after washing and gently reshape it. Do not bleach, do not tumble dry, do not iron hot, and do not dry clean. Store KIAANO folded, because a heavy chunky knit sweater can sag lengthwise or at the shoulders on a hanger.
Pilling and becoming looser while wearing
With a chunky knit sweater, small pills can form due to friction, especially under the arms and in places where a jacket or bag rubs against the knit. This is part of natural fibers and does not mean the sweater is of poor quality.
The knit can also become a bit looser while wearing. That is normal with a heavy knit of cotton and wool. Gently reshape the sweater after wearing, fold it, and give it a rest. Therefore, try not to choose it overly large from the start.
