ALMA & LOVIS TAMAR NIGHT BLUE organic cotton corduroy trousers

Cord love, casual look. That is how ALMA & LOVIS sums up the TAMAR, and we can’t really add much to that. These dark blue corduroy trousers are wonderfully comfortable while still having a beautiful, timeless look. The kind of trousers you put on for a regular workday and then are perfectly happy to keep wearing when something fun comes up unexpectedly.

The TAMAR has a mid-waist and a medium-wide, straight leg. The waistband features belt loops and elastic at the back, giving it a neat look while ensuring a comfortable fit. The sturdy corduroy feels soft and supple, and thanks to the small amount of elastane, you have plenty of freedom of movement.

Fit and sizing advice

The TAMAR has a regular fit and runs true to size. Therefore, you should generally choose your usual trouser size. Thanks to the elastic in the back of the waistband and the 1% elastane, the trousers have some extra room to move without losing their shape.

Measurements for size 36: side length excluding waistband approximately 101.5 cm and inseam approximately 78 cm.

GOTS-certified organic cotton

The trousers consist of 99% organic cotton from controlled organic cultivation. The cotton is breathable, strong, and pleasant to wear. The addition of 1% elastane gives the corduroy just enough stretch for extra comfort. This keeps the fabric nice and sturdy, but you don't have to walk around feeling stiff.

How to care for corduroy

Wash the trousers inside out at a maximum of 30 degrees using a delicate cycle and low spin speed. Do not bleach or tumble dry. Let the trousers air dry and iron without steam if necessary. Washing them inside out will keep the ribs and the deep dark blue color looking beautiful for longer.

There is only elastic at the back. At the front, the trousers have a classic waistband with a metal button and zipper.

En dit is waarom:

Biologisch katoen is een van de zachtste en meest huidvriendelijke materialen die er zijn. Het ademt goed, voelt vertrouwd aan en is makkelijk te wassen. Doordat het geteeld wordt zonder synthetische pesticiden of kunstmest, is het ook eerlijker voor de bodem en voor de mensen die het verbouwen. Biologisch katoen bevat minder chemische resten dan gewoon katoen, wat het extra fijn maakt voor mensen met een gevoelige huid — en zeker voor baby's en kinderen. Het is een materiaal dat je gewoon goed voelt: op je huid, en in je hoofd.

Wassen op lage temperatuur

Was biologisch katoen op maximaal 30 of 40 graden in de machine. Gebruik een fijnwasprogramma voor een langere levensduur.

Wasmiddel

Gebruik een mild, bij voorkeur biologisch wasmiddel. Vermijd bleekmiddel, dat tast de vezels aan.

Drogen

Haal je kleding DIRECT uit de wasmachine om wasstrepen te voorkomen. Laat het kledingstuk bij voorkeur aan de lucht drogen. Vermijd drogen in de droger, dat doet meer slecht dan goed voor je textielvezel.

Extra verzorging

Katoen is makkelijk te strijken op een middelhoge temperatuur. Was niet vaker dan nodig, luchten is vaak genoeg!
