For some, it happens faster than for others. My partner, for example, gets holes in his socks quite quickly, while I can wear the same socks for winters on end. There can be all sorts of causes, even the way you walk, the type of shoes you wear, or whether you wear them with or without slippers. By the way, we strongly advise against wearing them as slippers. That is 1. Dangerous, because wool socks are super slippery, and 2.
