We cannot say it often enough: holes will develop in pure wool socks. For some people, this happens faster than for others. It is completely normal for 100% wool socks to develop holes. My boyfriend, for example, gets holes in his socks quite quickly, whereas my socks last for winters on end. There can be all sorts of causes, such as your walking style, the type of shoes you wear, or whether you wear them with or without slippers. Incidentally, it is our express advice not to wear them as slippers. This is 1. Dangerous, because wool socks are super slippery and 2.
