We cannot say it often enough: holes will appear in pure wool socks. For some faster than others. It is therefore a plain fact that holes appear in 100% wool socks. For some it happens faster than for others. My boyfriend, for example, gets holes in his socks quite quickly, whereas I wear socks for winters on end. It can have all sorts of causes, even the way you walk, the type of shoes, or whether you wear them with or without slippers. Incidentally, it is explicitly our advice not to wear them as slippers. That is 1. Dangerous, because wool socks are super slippery and 2.
