We cannot say it often enough: holes happen in pure wool socks. For some people sooner than for others. It is therefore a well-known fact that 100% wool socks get holes. For some it happens faster than for others. My boyfriend, for example, gets holes in his socks quite quickly, while I can wear socks for entire winters. There can be all sorts of causes, even your way of walking, the type of shoes you wear, or whether you wear them with or without slippers. By the way, we explicitly advise against wearing them as slippers. That is 1. Dangerous, because wool socks are super slippery and 2.
