We cannot say it often enough: pure wool socks will get holes. Some people get them faster than others. It is therefore a plain fact that holes will appear in 100% wool socks. For some, it happens faster than for others. For example, my boyfriend gets holes in his socks quite quickly, whereas I can wear mine for winters on end. There can be many reasons for this, even the way you walk, the type of shoes you wear, or whether you wear them with or without slippers. Incidentally, we strongly advise against wearing them as slippers. That is 1. Dangerous, because wool socks are super slippery, and 2.
