We cannot say it often enough: pure wool socks will get holes. For some sooner than for others. It is therefore a well-known fact that 100% wool socks will develop holes. For some it happens faster than for others. My boyfriend, for example, gets holes in his socks quite quickly, while I can wear socks for winters on end. There can be many reasons for this, even the way you walk, the type of shoes, or whether you wear them with or without slippers. By the way, it is explicitly our advice not to wear them as slippers. That is 1. Dangerous, because wool socks are very slippery and 2.
