We also sometimes wear them over our trousers like leg warmers. The socks all have a beautiful little Norwegian motif, which makes the socks especially lovely. The socks have several rows of knitted-in elastic at the very top of the cuff. You don't see or feel this, but it is important because it prevents the wool socks from sliding down. However, we do have a lot of tips that can help extend the lifespan of your 100% wool knee-high socks. Wool socks just invite you to wear them around the house, which is, of course, no problem: but always do so in (well-fitting!!) shoes or slippers. If you wear 100% wool socks as house socks, they will wear out quickly and holes will form. These are, by the way, easy to \"darn.\" We made a handy video for that too. Additionally, pure wool socks are super slippery: be careful when walking on stairs! Holes in your new wool socks cannot (entirely) be prevented, unfortunately. Over time, 100% wool socks simply wear out faster than socks containing synthetic fibers. It is also important that wool socks are not chosen too large or too small. Well-fitting footwear is also important to extend the lifespan of your socks. Why would you choose 100% wool socks despite this? Because there is NOTHING better than a pair of fine socks without the junk... The difference in wearing comfort compared to socks with synthetic content is really much better.
