It is annoying if wool socks \"bunch up\" because they are too loose. If in doubt, you can always contact us. There are tiny elastic bands in the cuff of the pure wool socks, so you don't have to worry about the socks sliding down. The elastic does not touch the skin. Then ALWAYS do so on a wool wash cycle with a wool detergent containing lanolin. Wool shrinks due to temperature differences, not due to heat. A wool wash cycle has the same temperature throughout, which makes the risk of shrinkage very small. This makes the wool a lot more vulnerable to wear and tear. We therefore recommend that you alternate your socks regularly and purchase several pairs.
