Place it on the wool insole, trace the shape, and use sturdy fabric scissors to trim away a small edge at a time. It is better to trim a little bit twice than to be too enthusiastic once – adding material back on is difficult.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eOver time, the wool felt will mold increasingly to your foot and the inside of your shoe.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003ch2\u003eCan these insoles also be used in GLERUPS slippers?\u003c\/h2\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eWe hear mixed experiences about this, so we cannot give a resounding yes or no. The existing footbed of GLERUPS slippers cannot be removed. Therefore, an extra insole will make the slipper noticeably smaller and tighter.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eIf you have narrow feet or your GLERUPS are a bit too loose, this might actually be pleasant. If your slippers already fit well, we would not recommend adding an extra insole.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003ch2\u003eGood to know\u003c\/h2\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eThese felt insoles are intended for extra warmth, softness, and insulation. They do not have arch support and therefore do not replace orthopedic or corrective insoles.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eAlso, keep in mind that an 8–10 mm insole takes up space. In a shoe that is already tight, this will probably not be comfortable. They are perfect for roomy shoes, boots, or narrow feet.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003ch2\u003eMaintenance of wool insoles\u003c\/h2\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eWool has natural self-cleaning properties. Therefore, remove the insoles from your shoes occasionally and let them air out overnight. Washing is usually not necessary.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eIf a stain does occur, dab it gently with a slightly damp cloth and a little bit of \u003ca href=\"\/en\/products\/lanalicious-wasmiddel\"\u003eLanalicious wool detergent with lanolin\u003c\/a\u003e. Let the insoles dry completely while lying flat afterwards. Do not put them in the washing machine or dryer.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eA little fluff or the shedding of a few wool fibers is not unusual for natural wool felt. You can simply remove loose fibers by hand.
